Week of Intercession – Today’s Focus: Traveling Grace for IP&L Attendees

“The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.”  – Psalm 121:7-8

As we kicked off our week of intercessory prayer from The Potter’s House last week, we have experienced a mighty move of God. We thank Him for all of the wonderful praise reports and deliverance stories that people have shared throughout the week. To this end, we are going to continue our prayer series throughout the year and stand in agreement for a divine move of God’s dunamis power across the world.

Today, we are only one day away from our highly anticipated International Pastors and Leadership (IP&L) Conference in Dallas, TX. We are honored to host guests, from millennial entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs to tenured leaders and pastors from all over the world. There will be attendees traveling abroad from Australia, India, South Africa, and South America, among other areas. And, there will also be attendees traveling from across the nation, spanning New York to Texas (and everywhere in between). As obedient stewards of God’s Kingdom, Bishop T.D. Jakes and his ministry team would like for you to join us in praying for traveling grace for our IP&L attendees.

“You’ll travel safely, you’ll neither tire nor trip. You’ll take afternoon naps without a worry, you’ll enjoy a good night’s sleep. No need to panic over alarms or surprises, or predictions that doomsday’s just around the corner, because God will be right there with you; He’ll keep you safe and sound.” – Psalm 3:23-26

Intercessory Prayer for IP&L Attendee’s Traveling Grace

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that you will forgive me of my sins. I believe that you gave your only begotten Son – Jesus Christ – to die for my sins. Today, I accept Jesus Christ into my life. God, I earnestly bow down to you and acknowledge you as my Lord and Savior. I thank you for being a magnificent Father. Today, I ask that you cover every single person traveling to the International Pastors & Leadership (IP&L) Conference in Dallas, TX, with your hedge of protection, in Jesus Christ’s name. Lord, I pray that you will bless them with your traveling mercies and grace.

Allow everyone traveling by airplane, bus, car, train, and any other mode of transportation to arrive safely in Dallas. May every mode of transportation operate effectively, in Jesus Christ’s name. Father, I ask that you will watch over the pilots, conductors, drivers, and transportation crew. Keep them out of harm’s way as they travel to Dallas, in Jesus Christ’s name. Lord, I pray that you will watch over the highway workers and bless them as they work to keep our roads safe. I pray that you will watch over the air traffic controllers as they monitor the flow of air traffic, in Jesus Christ’s name. I pray that you will watch over everyone driving to Dallas. Keep them out of harm’s way and allow them to know when they need to take a break from driving. Father, allow your Holy Spirit to guide them safely as they travel.

For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.

– Psalm 91:11

Heavenly Father, through intercessory prayer I pray that you will thwart the plans of the enemy to put anyone in harm’s way. Lord, I ask that you will convict everyone’s heart to be cognizant of their surroundings as they travel to and stay in Dallas this week, in Jesus Christ’s name. Lord, I also pray that you will cover everyone with your traveling mercies as they head back to their respective homes at the conclusion of the conference. Thank you, Father, for being faithful to keep everyone safe, in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen.
